Our dearest friend, colleague and loyal Xpander needs your help to kick a nasty cancer in the nuts and to make a staggeringly important message go viral. This month, Dan was diagnosed with bowel cancer and given 6 months to live. The thing is, Dan’s not done yet.
Help Dan explore his new passion “staying alive, investigating how the hell this happened and doing everything I can to make sure I’m one of the last people to miss such an aggressive cancer.” This happened to our friend, our colleague, and it could happen to yours.
The media industry including Xpand are uniting for a football tournament in order to help well-known programmatic consultant and industry recruiter Dan Sheppard, beat cancer and raise awareness of bowel cancer in the under 50s following his recent diagnosis.
Nearly 20 teams, largely made up of media agencies, ad tech vendors and publishers will take to Sydney's Wentworth Park next Friday for a football tournament kicking off at 12pm. There will be a BBQ, bar, raffle, donation box, wristband and t-shirt sale with all proceeds going to Dan - please come down!
